Q: Northbound Interstate 75 approaching the Sawgrass Expressway/Interstate 595 interchange backs up more than a mile on many days without being caused by accidents or construction. Is this being reviewed? Maybe some type of lane dividers further south on I-75 will get people in the proper lanes before the free-for-all where all the ramps split for I-75, I-595 and the Sawgrass.

A: A new ramp and bridge are under construction that will connect the new express lanes on I-75 directly to the I-595 express lanes. That will eliminate some of the merging traffic bound for I-595 in the express lanes during the morning rush hour.
