Montes Named The American Player of the Week

TAMPA (MARCH 21, 2016) – University of South Florida baseball player Coco Montes (Miami) was recognized as the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Bulls pitcher Brandon Lawson (Brooksville, Fla.) was also named to The American Weekly Honor Roll.

Montes is the first USF player to receive player of the week honors this season. He hit .400 in the Bulls’ four-win week.
