KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C., OCT. 26, 2015 – Maria “Nani” Merchan put together her best round since the fall opener to lead the Bulls in the second round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Monday.
Merchan collected two birdies on the front nine and finished the day with a 1-under 71 at Turtle Point Golf Course (par-72, 5,972 yards). At 8-over, Merchan is just four shots away from the top 25 with one round to go in the Bulls’ fall finale.
USF (+40) is in 17th place and 15 shots away from the top 10.
