TAMPA, FLA., Sept. 9, 2024 – South Florida men's soccer (2-1-3) secured its second victory of the season, 2-1, against UC Irvine (1-3-1) on Monday night at Corbett Stadium.
In the opening stanza, Gunnar Studenhofft quickly put the Bulls on the board within the first five minutes. The Anteaters responded 12 minutes later with an unassisted goal by Agaton Pourshahidi to tie the game, 1-1. South Florida had a handful of scoring chances but couldn't capitalize, finishing the first half with nine shots which kept it tied at the break.
