TAMPA, JULY 8, 2019 – USF's Ramya Meenakshisundaram and Sophie Stone have been honored as Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars for the 2018-19 season.

The WGCA released its full All-American Scholar Team on Monday and the criteria for selection are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. Requirements included a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50.

"Ramya and Sophie are outstanding representatives for embodying what we are all about as a department - winning in the classroom, winning on the course, and winning in the community," head coach Erika Brennan said.
