Baseball America Freshman All-Americans

TAMPA, JUNE 26, 2017 – University of South Florida pitcher Shane McClanahan (Cape Coral, Fla.) has been named a Baseball America First Team Freshman All-American, as announced Monday.

The redshirt-freshman was named a National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association First Team Freshman All-American on June 12 and a Perfect Game/Rawlings First Team Freshman All-American on June 15. He is one of three American Athletic Conference players on the list and the only member on the first team.

McClanahan posted a 4-2 record for the 42-19 Bulls with a 3.
