Billy Burke, captain of Engine Co. 21 from midtown Manhattan, could be seen striding into the lobby of One World Trade Center with his crew, minutes after a hijacked plane flew into its upper floors.
Burke pulled off his helmet for a moment, wiped his brow, and then went back to work, unflinching in the face of terror.
