Coach Willie Taggart said Thursday there's "no doubt" sophomore rushing leader Marlon Mack, who has been nursing a mild hamstring strain, will play Saturday against SMU.
Mack, who sustained the injury on his final carry in the waning moments of last weekend's 28-20 victory against Connecticut, didn't practice Sunday. He suited up the last three practices but has been limited.
Taggart indicated he logged reps during Thursday morning's non-padded workout.
"We didn't tell him to go 100 mph, but we wanted to see him go and he got out and ran a little bit," Taggart said.
