A 45-year-old man was shot and killed after a struggle with two others early Saturday in Riviera Beach, police said.
The fatal shooting occurred shortly before 5 a.m. in the 2700 block of Avenue 'E,' according to police spokeswoman Rose Anne Brown.
Police responded to a report of "shots fired" and found Stephen Griffith dead outside of his apartment.
Before the deadly encounter, Griffith stood outside of his residence and was approached by two men, Brown said.
During the confrontation, there was a struggle and then gunfire, police said.
It is unknown whether Griffith knew the gunmen and, if so, how they knew one another, Brown said.
