The man accused of leading police and deputies on a pursuit through Broward County is facing charges far more serious than traffic infractions.
Fort Lauderdale police said Lenord Anton Henley, 32, was driving a stolen car wanted as evidence in a Fort Pierce murder but he was wanted for an unrelated attempted murder in Pompano Beach.
The Broward Sheriff's Office says Henley is a suspect in the May 18 shooting of 20-year-old Stetson President at a block party.
President found himself at the center of an argument over past and present relationships and was shot and wounded as he tried to drive away from the party in his girlfriend's Honda Accord, detectives said.
