Man accused of driving with toddler unbuckled in front seat, possession of flakka

A man was arrested after police said they caught him driving with a baggie of flakka and an unbuckled toddler in the front seat.

West Palm Beach police said just after 10 p.m. Saturday, they saw a car driving in the 900 block of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard make an illegal U-turn.

Police pulled over the driver, Joey Canady, and saw a 2-year-old girl sitting in the front seat, with no car seat or seat belt. They ran Canady's name and also discovered he has no valid driver's license.

It's unclear what Canady's relationship is to the toddler.
