On one of the season's most raucous nights at USF Baseball Stadium, Bulls senior RF Luke Maglich didn't merely create the drama, he provided the prelude as well.
An inning after potentially saving three UCF runs with arguably the defensive play of the season, Maglich hit a walk-off double to left field, clinching a 5-4 victory before the third-largest crowd (2,794) in the stadium's six-year history.
"I thought it was a huge win for us," said Maglich, whose club (21-22, 6-8) clinched its first American Athletic Conference series of the season.
"We got off to a big lead right away, but we faced a lot of adversity.
