Junior Leonor Medeiros and graduate transfer Alyssa Montgomery, members of the record-setting 2023-24 women's golf team, have been named to the 2023-24 WGCA All-American Scholar Team that was announced today.
Medeiros and Montgomery, who also earned CSC Academic All-District honors, were each named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team for the third time. Medeiros was a WGCA All-American Scholar in 2021-22 and 2022-23. Montgomery was named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team in 2019-20, and 2021-22 while at Virginia Tech.
In order to be selected to the All-American Scholar team, players must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.
