TAMPA, FEB. 12, 2018 – Junior turned in one of the top performances in the country on Sunday as Latvian guard netted a career-high 41 points against No. 13 Ohio State. Less than 24 hours after the final horn, espnW named Laksa the national player of the week on Monday.
Laksa's career outing was not her first 40-point performance this season but it was her most impressive. Laksa finished 15-of-27 from the floor and 8-of-13 from long range.
