Jury hears calls between accusers and ex-teacher charged with sex crimes

Once Stephen Budd's accusers got him on the phone, they would not let up. Over and over, the teenage girls insisted their former fourth-grade teacher apologize for and admit to sexually abusing them in class more than six years earlier.

"Do you feel bad at all for the trauma you put us through?" one of the alleged victims asked on the April 3, 2013, call secretly recorded by West Palm Beach police and played for a jury Friday.

"I feel bad about this whole conversation," Budd finally answered, following more than 30 seconds of silence. Before ending the late night call, he repeated again that he wouldn't admit to any of the allegations, leading one accuser to promise, "We're going to call the cops.
