Jeb Bush is all but certain to dominate the political world Monday when he announces his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination.
He's scheduled a 3 p.m. event at Miami-Dade College's Kendall campus for what he's called on Twitter "my big announcement" and "a special day."
His candidacy isn't in doubt. The former Florida governor has been effectively running for president for six months, visiting early primary and caucus states that have an outsize role in picking party nominees. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, he's scheduled to campaign in three of those states: New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina.
