In life's race, they're the marathoners.
They're South Florida's centenarians, and they've been around longer than network television, antibiotics, interstate highways and the Empire State Building.
How did they do it?
"Pretty girls, and a little bit of good vodka every night," said Tom Snedeker, of Pompano Beach, with a sly smile.
Snedeker, who lives with wife Mary in an apartment at the John Knox Village retirement community, will hit 101 in September and he plans to celebrate on a round-the-world cruise. His advice on going the distance: "Take it easy. Don't think you have to do everything at once.
