High-ranking S. Fla. Latin Kings gang members facing racketeering charges

Several high-ranking members of the Latin Kings gang in South Florida have been arrested on federal racketeering and other charges, according to an indictment unsealed Tuesday.

The indictment names 23 men and women accused of being members and associates of what prosecutors say is one of the largest and most well-organized criminal gangs in the U.S.

Among those charged is Christopher Isabel, also known as King Nano, who investigators say was the "Second Crown" or second in command of the gang's operations in Florida. Several local members accused of leading the gang in Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties were also arrested.
