TAMPA, AUG. 29, 2015 – Career days from a pair of upperclassmen pushed the USF volleyball team to its second sweep of the season.
Senior Wylie Devlin took care of the defense while junior Alexus Heidelberg handled offensive duties, as the duo posted career highs Saturday morning, sending USF (2-0) past North Florida (1-1) in three sets, 25-19, 25-22, 25-17.
Heidelberg (Winter Garden) appeared untouchable in the match, collecting 11 kills on just 13 swings to record her career-best hitting percentage, .769 – a full .483 points higher than her previous best.
