USF men’s basketball received tremendous news on day one of the early signing period on Wednesday as consensus four-star shooting guard Caleb Murphy out of Grayson High School in Georgia signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Bulls.
Hailing from Youngstown, OH, before playing prep ball in the Atlanta area, Murphy verbally committed to USF in September and ultimately signed with the Green and Gold over offers from several schools including Florida, Georgia, NC State, Mississippi State and Xavier, among others.
Last season, the combo guard helped Norcross High School reach the Class AAAAAAA Final Four in Georgia by averaging 8.
