PROVIDENCE, R.I., May 20, 2019 – Senior first baseman was named to the All-American Athletic Conference First Team, the league offices announced on Monday afternoon.
Genord (Lake Worth, Fla.) hit a career best .333 in 2019 with 13 home runs, 52 RBI and 36 runs scored. A year after being a second team all-conference selection, Genord was named preseason all-conference in December and lived up to the expectations in 2019. He had 16 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI games, finishing the year with a 25 game on-base streak.
The senior slugger finished his USF career third in program history with 44 home runs.
