was one of 18 players named to the 2015 U.S. Women’s Baseball National Team this past weekend after a three-day tryout in North Carolina.
Gajownik will play infield and pitch for Team USA after making the final roster for the first time in her career.
“I am still in shock and I feel so blessed that I can give back to my country,” Gajownik said after finding out she made the team.
The Winter Park, Fla., native played the last two seasons for the Bulls’ softball team after transferring from Indian River State College and finished her USF career with 68 hits, 35 runs and 34 RBIs.
