Scores of American Heritage School students are expected to join family and friends Tuesday to remember Liza Angulo, described by one classmate as "the ultimate cheerleader, who lived every moment of her life while caring for everyone else.
"When I think of Liza, I think of a girl who was always positive, who laughed the loudest, who was just so exuberant," said class president Pedro Rojas. "It may seem like an ordinary day, but the world isn't the same. It doesn't feel right anymore."
Angulo, 17, who graduated from American Heritage two weeks ago, was killed instantly Thursday in a horrifying four-vehicle crash along I-75 in Pembroke Pines that involved two tractor-trailers and a load of concrete barriers.
