Former Miami Hurricanes walk-on Augie DeBiase has transferred to USF per his Twitter and Instagram accounts. Sources with knowledge of the situation have confirmed that he has joined the team.
DeBiase was a former two-star QB coming out of Raines high school in Jacksonville, Florida where he threw for 105 career TDs. For his college decision, he chose to take a preferred walk-on spot at Miami instead of going to Virginia Tech or Indiana on scholarship. He ended up redshirting his freshman year, where he primarily played on the practice squad.
He transferred to JUCO Tyler College last season where he became the starting signal-caller for the Apaches before an injury knocked him out of the starting line up.
