Feud over Facebook messages leads to Miramar shooting, cops say

When a man found out his wife was Facebook messaging an old acquaintance, he made his way to the acquaintance's house, punched him, then shot him in the leg, according to police.

Christopher Romoleroux, 22, was arrested Sunday in Pompano Beach on an attempted second-degree murder charge. He is accused of shooting Clarence Autley in the leg after a fistfight over messages sent between Romoleroux's wife and Autley.

Autley told police in a sworn statement that he had received a Facebook message from an old acquaintance named Ludwika Duarte around midnight Saturday, according to an arrest affidavit.
