Federal prosecutors say a mysterious South Florida man who stole military secrets deserves a long prison term because he lied to them, tried to destroy evidence, and even plotted an escape from the Palm Beach County Jail.
Investigators say Christopher Glenn, 35, of West Palm Beach, refuses to reveal his motives. That makes it impossible to assess how much damage he caused to national security when he exploited his job as a government contractor to hack computers and steal military secrets at a U.S. base in Honduras, they said.
Though he pleaded guilty to federal charges, investigators say Glenn repeatedly lied in his debriefing with them.
