A federal judge will get 10 days advance notice before a 4 1/2-year-old boy at the center of a circumcision battle is set to have the procedure, the father's attorney promised Monday.
The boy's mother, Heather Hironimus, of West Boynton, remained in Broward County Jail for a fourth straight day without an appearance before a judge following her arrest Thursday after spending nearly three months in hiding with the child at a domestic violence shelter.
In March, a state circuit court judge found Hironimus in contempt of court for failing to comply with an order enforcing a 2012 parenting plan, which makes dad Dennis Nebus, of Boca Raton, responsible for arranging the circumcision.
