PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Nov. 1, 2016)— Four USF women’s soccer players earned all-conference honors, highlighted by American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year, Evelyne Viens.
Viens was a first team all-conference selection and was joined on the all-rookie team by fellow freshman Andrea Hauksdottir. Hauksdottir was a second team all-conference selection as well, joined by seniors Jordyn Listro and Trudi Carter. Viens is the third player to earn a major conference award and the second freshman. In 2016, Jackie Simpson was named the defensive player of the year and in 1998 Tia Opliger was the Conference USA Freshman of the Year.
