Evelyne Viens Continues to Set Records as USF Women’s Soccer Defeats Houston 3-1

Evelyne Viens continues to add to her historic career with another stellar performance by collecting five points in USF’s 3-1 victory over Houston. After scoring twice and adding an assist, the senior striker is now the American Athletic Conference’s all-time leader in points for a career with 141, beating the previous mark held by UConn’s Rachel Hill.

The Bulls got the scoring done early in the first half with Viens’ first goal coming in the 10th minute. Senior Aubrey Megrath found Viens in the box, where Viens headed the cross past the Houston goalie to give USF an early lead they would not give up.
