Eveld Extends Scoreless Innings Streak

TAMPA, JULY 8, 2016Tommy Eveld continues to baffle hitters in his first season as a pro pitcher.

Eveld has thrown 6.2 scoreless innings in a six-game span that dates back to June 21 in the Class-A Short Season Northwest League. The right-hander from Tampa pitched 1.2 shutout innings with two strikeouts in the Hillsboro Hops’ 8-3 loss to Tri-City on Thursday.
