Eight Bulls make coaches All-AAC squad

OCTAVIO JONES | Times

For the second year in a row, Bulls sophomore TB Marlon Mack is a first-team pick on the coaches All-American Athletic Conference team.

Mack and sophomore CB Deatrick Nichols are USF's only first-teamers on the squad, released Wednesday. Six other Bulls earned second-team status, with junior Rodney Adams earning both a second-team spot (as a return specialist) and honorable mention (as a receiver).

Mack, who just completed his second consecutive 1,000-yard regular season, is only the third player in program history to earn first-team all-conference honors twice. Nichols is tied for the team lead in interceptions (four) and tied for third in tackles (58).
