Scores of cars and SUVs in the parking lot of a Pompano Beach condominium were burglarized and damaged early Wednesday, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
The agency was called about 5:30 a.m. about the damage and thefts at Waterford Point Condominiums, 801 S. Federal Highway.
A total of 68 vehicles at the 273-unit condominium complex suffered damage, according to the facility's property manager. Many had smashed windows and other damage and items stolen. Some of the vehicles were damaged but had no contents taken.
Reports from residents that two vehicles had been stolen could not be immediately confirmed.
