PROVIDENCE, R.I., Sept. 3, 2018–USF's Harrison Devenish-Meares, junior goalkeeper on the men's soccer team, was named the American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday.
Devenish-Meares (Sydney, Australia) boosted the Bulls (0-3-0) in two contests last week, first recording a career-high six saves against then-ranked Michigan on Monday night in 90 minutes in Ann Arbor. He continued his stellar showing on Friday night when the Bulls faced Virginia Tech (receiving votes) at home, and he racked up nine saves, setting a new career high for the second time in one week.
