Authorities are searching for the driver of an SUV who hit a bicyclist and took off in West Boca.
The crash happened at about 11:53 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Lyons Road and Southwest 18th Street, according to a Palm Beach Sheriff's Office crash report.
A 2009 Chevy Equinox was heading south on Lyons Road on the inside lane as Beth Jamine, 43, of West Boca, was riding her bike west on Southwest 18th Street. As Jamine crossed the intersection in the pedestrian crosswalk, the SUV hit her, throwing her off her bike, according to the report.
