As a sophomore in 2016 at South Lake High (Groveland, FL) Kelley Joiner rushed for 1,270 yards on 175 carries (7.3 yds./car.) and 13 touchdowns. Joiner carved up the opposition like Thanksgiving turkey the following season; a junior campaign that included a 402 yard five touchdown performance against Leesburg and going over 100 rushing yards in 10 games.
Joiner finished with 2,241 yards on the ground on 251 carries (8.9 yds./car.) and 25 touchdowns in 2017. He was about to erupt on the college football recruiting landscape after putting up borderline unbelievable numbers in the first three games of his senior year.
