TAMPA, April 4, 2022 – University of South Florida senior Georgina Corrick was named the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week for the sixth time this season, the league announced on Monday afternoon. Dezarae Maldonado also earned a spot on the weekly honor roll.
Corrick (Sanford, Fla.) continued her dominant season in the circle, winning all three of her starts against ECU this weekend. The senior started with six shutout innings on Friday in which she only allowed one hit while striking out 11.
On Saturday, Corrick threw her seventh solo no-hitter (eighth of her career including a combined effort in 2020) in the second game of the weekend.
