TAMPA, May 4, 2022 – University of South Florida senior pitcher was named one of ten finalists for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award, the organization announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Corrick, who leads the country in innings pitched (238.0), shutouts (18), strikeouts (357) and victories (31), also ranks in the top 10 in strikeout-to-walk ratio (second, 13.22), ERA (third, 0.44), hits allowed per seven innings (third, 2.76) and walks allowed per seven innings (eighth, 0.79).
The two-time NFCA All-American has reached new heights in her final year of eligibility. At one point during the season, Corrick's ERA was as low as 0.
