TAMPA, Feb. 12, 2022 – The University of South Florida softball team earned its first upset win of the season by taking down No. 13/16 Michigan, 4-1, on Saturday afternoon.
(Sanford, Fla.) threw 11 strikeouts to push her career total to 906, breaking the American Athletic Conference record of 903 set by Tulsa's Emily Watson (2015-18). (West Palm Beach, Fla.) and (Tampa) powered the Bulls offense with a pair of homers in the game.
The Bulls took an early lead. (Sarasota) and Megan Sheehan (Forest Hill, Md.) reached to begin the inning and later in the inning Foreman hit a three-run shot to left field, giving USF a 3-0 advantage.
