TAMPA, MAY 29, 2019 – USF pitcher Georgina Corrick was named an NFCA Second Team All-American on Wednesday evening.
The Sanford, Fla., native receives this honor as just a sophomore after breaking into the USF record books during the 2019 season. Corrick ranks in the top 10 in three career categories, five single-season categories and currently ranks in the top 25 nationally in five statistical categories.
Corrick finished her sophomore campaign with 25 wins, 260 strikeouts, 11 shutouts, a 1.14 ERA and .167 opponent batting average. The British National Team pitcher has the eighth-most strikeouts in USF history with 424 and ranks sixth in a single season after reaching 260 this year.
