Convicted felon gets 100 years in gangland murders, shootings

The sentence is 100 years in prison for the felon just convicted in the bloodiest attack of a Lake Worth street gang war that is long over.

Palm Beach County Judge Marni Bryson on Monday sentenced Jarvis Jackson, 28, to four consecutive 25-year terms, following his conviction Friday of three counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder.

"That is presumptive life," said the judge, who ordered the punishments for the 2007 crimes to run concurrent with a 15-year sentence Jackson has been serving for an unrelated federal gun charge.

But there's even more time facing him.
