Coconut Creek police identify men who died in Sunday crash

Two friends from Coral Springs died early Sunday when a Mercedes-Benz C300 sedan collided with the rear of their Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible, Coconut Creek police said.

Richardson Tanis, 25, drove the Mitsubishi and Louiguens Raymond, 19, was his passenger as they traveled west along the 4600 block of Coconut Creek Parkway.

Witnesses told police the Mercedes was traveling in the same direction and at a high rate of speed, Coconut Creek Police Sgt. Henry Cabrera said Monday.
