TAMPA (Nov. 11, 2015)— Roberto Cid will represent the USF men’s tennis team this weekend as he competes for an ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship in Flushing, New York.
The championships get underway Thursday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, hosted by Columbia University.
Cid advanced to the championships after picking up the singles title at the 2015 ITA Southeast Regional held in Gainesville, Fla. back in October. The senior earned the No. 6 seed and will face off against Ohio State’s Mikael Torpegaard in the first round.
