TAMPA (April 1)- The University of South Florida's Elijah Cham has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the week, the league announced on Tuesday. No. 28 South Florida (18-3) played a pair of matches on the road this weekend, facing Charlotte (9-9) on Friday and Liberty University (7-11) on Sunday.
Cham went a combined 3-0, including two singles win and a clinching doubles win. Cham earned a 7-6 (8-6) clinching Point on Doubles 3 to push the Bulls up against the 49ers. Cham continued to win both of his singles courts in straight sets.
