#27 Safety Naytron Culpepper - Sophomore, 6’1”, 186 pounds
2017: Naytron got plenty of valuable playing time in the secondary as a true freshman, appearing in ten games and making his first starts against C. and Texas Tech in the Birmingham Bowl. He finished the year with 12 tackles and two pass breakups.
How he came to USF: The Miami product committed to USF as part of the “Carol City 3” haul that included teammates Donelle Thomas and Kevaughn Dingle. As a senior, he helped the Chiefs win the Class 6A state championship as part of a unit that held opponents to 105.
