A woman was taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after a car jumped a curb and pinned her to a wall outside a strip shopping center.
Rescue personnel were called the shopping plaza on West Hillsboro Boulevard at 4:14 p.m., and took the woman to Broward Health North with possible trauma injuries to her lower extremities, said Mike Jachles, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman.
Bystanders said the woman was exiting the nail salon at 3234 W. Hillsboro Blvd. when the motorist stopped in a disabled parking spot lurched forward and hit her.
Neither victim nor motorist's names were released Saturday night.
