TAMPA, JAN. 9, 2018 – The University of South Florida men's soccer team added its first piece to the 2018 team that looks to return to the American Athletic Conference Championship. Head coach Bob Butehorn and his staff announced the addition of Florida standout Marcus Murphy.
"I'm excited for Marcus to join our program," said head coach Bob Butehorn. "Marcus played for a great club in Florida and we look forward to developing his career over the next four years."
Murphy, a 6-0 defender, played for Clay County Soccer Club for 12 years and boasts a Florida state championship with Fleming Island High School.
