RALEIGH, N.C., MAY 9, 2015 - Four birdies in the final round of the NCAA Regional capped off a strong season for USF sophomore golfer Ashley Burke, who collected her 10th round of par or better in the 2014-15 season.
Burke shot 80 (+8) on the final day at the 6,381-yard, par-72 Lonnie Poole Golf Course, mixing three birdies in the first nine holes with a late birdie on the 17th hole to finish with a 54-hole score of 228 (+12), tying for 43rd in a 96-player field.
Burke earned an individual championship earlier this spring in the Florida Challenge, one of three top-10 finishes and one of six top-25 finishes en route to a spot on the All-American Athletic Conference team.
