ORLANDO, FLA. (April 13, 2017)— The USF Softball team saw its four-game win streak come to an end Thursday night in a 2-0 loss to UCF in the first game of the War on I-4 series.
UCF (22-18, 6-4 American) got on the board in the first, using a bases-loaded single to plate the first run of the game for either side. The Bulls’ (25-20, 4-5 American) 21st double play of the year would end the bases-loaded threat to leave the damage at just the one run.
The Bulls would get runners to second multiple times throughout the next six innings, but couldn’t push the tying run across.
