HOUSTON (May 6, 2016)— The USF Softball team's six-game win streak came to an end Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 loss to Houston. The Bulls fell to 32-22, 9-7 on the year, while Houston improved to 27-24, 11-6.
Houston took the lead in the second inning with a two-out rally. A USF error extended the inning, allowing the Cougars to plate three unearned runs to take a 3-0 lead.
USF would tack on a run in the fourth on an RBI double from Bethaney Keen, making it a 3-1 game. Lauren Evans led off the inning with a double of her own, coming home a batter later on the double from Keen.
