USF uses bye week to prepare for conference opener vs. 3-0 SMU in Raymond James Stadium

TAMPA, SEPT. 16, 2019 – USF's American Athletic Conference opening game vs. SMU on Sat., Sept. 28 in Raymond James Stadium has been set for a 4 p.m. kickoff on ESPNU.

The Bulls, 1-2 on the 2019 season presented by Valley, are enjoying a bye week after posting a 55-16 victory over South Carolina State led by redshirt freshman quarterback Jordan McCloud (Tampa).

McCloud was named to The American's weekly Honor Roll after accounting for five touchdowns (three passing, two rushing) and totaling 273 yards in his first career start.
